In astronomy, we've been looking at different kinds of light and opening up the universe a little bit more of the time. But then in 2015, the roof came off. Something happened that changed everything, the ability to see waves in space and time itself. Gravitational waves help us roll back the clock to the dawn of time, discover epic cosmic collisions, on make Earth-shaking discoveries. Gravitational waves are the biggest game changer since the invention of the telescope. We have a completely new universe to view now. A new exploration of space is just beginning.

Prince William, Sir David Attenborough and Christiana Figueres highlight inspiring and often unexpected solutions to the challenge. In this film, we'll explain the scale of the problem posed by climate change and will introduce you to some amazing people already working on climate crisis. One of these three finalists will win the Earthshot Prize and get the platform and resources they need to scale their ground-breaking work. Nine more solutions for fixing our climate will receive the same support over the course of this decade.

We have become too comfortable in societies that are immensely wasteful. As a consequence across the globe, the natural world about us is now suffering from the waste we throw away. Is it possible for us to keep what we have and continue to progress without generating waste? This film will expose the root causes of our wastefulness, highlight people around the world working on incredible solutions and it willl introduce you to the new projects shortlisted for the fifth goal of the Earthshot Prize.

Humans have long gazed up at the night sky, wondering whether other lifeforms and intelligences could be thriving on worlds far beyond our own. But over the last few decades, ultra-sensitive telescopes and dogged detective work have transformed alien planet-hunting from science fiction into hard fact. We expected to find worlds similar to the planets in our own solar system, but we instead discovered a riot of exotic worlds. Vivid animation based on data from the most successful planet hunter of them all, the Kepler space telescope, brings these worlds into view: puffy planets with the density of polystyrene, unstable worlds orbiting two suns and 1,000-degree, broiling gas giants with skies whipped into titanic winds.
But perhaps the most startling discovery was the number of worlds that may be contenders for a second Earth, at the right distance from their sun to have that ingredient so crucial for life as we know it, liquid water. Amongst them, we witness the most tantalizing discovery of all: a so-called ‘super-Earth’, situated in the Goldilocks zone - the area just the right distance from a sun to potentially support life - and with the faint signal of water in its atmosphere.

This widely praised by critics film was created with cooperation from Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and the widows of John Lennon and George Harrison. Filmmaker Peter Jackson delves into invaluable footage archives to make a film that shows the truth about the Beatles recording together the album Let it Be, which had the working title of Get Back. The production employed film restoration techniques developed for Jackson's previous works on sixty hours of film footage and 150 hours of audio, spending four years in editing the series. The final cut covers 21 days in the studio with the Beatles and climaxes with the full 42-minute rooftop concert.
In part I, the Beatles begin rehearsing at Twickenham Studios for what is at first meant to be a television special about the recording of their next album leading up to a live show at a location to be determined.
